House Hunting Horror! Colorado Buyer Discovers Unwanted Housemates in Dream Home:
When searching for a new home, people often have a specific checklist of must-haves, such as a certain number of bedrooms, a spacious yard, or a large garage. However, there are certain things that no one wants in their new home.
Amber Hall thought she had found her dream home in Centennial, Colorado, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a great location for her children and two dogs. However, she didn’t realize that the house already had occupants of the slithery variety. Reports indicate that Hall discovered unwanted snakes in the home, putting a damper on her home-buying excitement.

After officially buying the house, Amber was excited for her family to move in and make it their own. Yet alarm bells sounded off in her head while she was in the process of unpacking and one of her dogs began to behave strangely.
As per KOAA, she explained: “I was trying to unpack, and my dog crouched down and he started walking over here really slow.”
“I came over to see what he was looking at, thinking it was like a spider or something, and there were two little holes right here and I saw snakes slither up the wall. So, I panicked.”
Yes, you read that correctly. Snakes in the walls.

Reportedly, the large serpents had coiled up inside the wall beside the door that led from her garage to the yard. Alarmingly, when Hall placed her hand further up the wall, she could feel warmth, indicating that there were more of the creatures hidden away.
“Shockingly big,” she said of the snakes.
“After all the research, everybody’s saying they’re some form of garter snake. But they’re also giving the caveat that nobody’s ever seen their garter snake that big.
“I can’t unpack any of my stuff because I’m definitely afraid that there’s snakes in the boxes or under the boxes… It’s like you crawl into bed, and if the sheet brushes your foot or something, you immediately rip the covers off or jump out of bed to make sure nothing’s in there.”
Amber reported that the initial snake discovery occurred just over a week ago and since then, a total of 10 snakes have been found. In a state of panic, Amber hired a snake wrangler who has been humanely removing the snakes from her home. The wrangler mentioned to Amber that some of the snakes may have been residing in the house for up to two years based on their size.

Amber expressed her feelings about the situation, stating that she does not think she is the first person to find snakes in her home, but she doubts that anyone would ever admit to it. She also shared how difficult it has been for her, as a 42-year-old who has worked her entire life to purchase her first home, to be unable to enjoy it due to the presence of snakes. Amber said she feels scared to death and that she won’t feel comfortable until the concrete in her home is ripped up to locate where the snakes are living.
