Snake was a calm weekend afternoon. John was reading on the back porch while Liz worked in their garden.
All of a sudden, Liz screamed. John quickly got up and rushed to his wife. Liz seemed fine, but when John glanced around, he saw something that shouldn’t have been possible.
John saw a small snake in front of him. Liz was hiding behind John while he leaned over to see it better. John was surprised because the snake had two little arms. It was the weirdest thing he had ever seen. The snake looked small and harmless, so John picked it up to take a closer look. But as soon as he grabbed it, the snake made a hissing sound and bit his wrist!
John screamed in agony and let go of the snake. The bite began to bleed a lot. He was shocked that a tiny snake could cause so much harm! Liz hurried inside the house and returned with a cloth to tie around the snake bite and stop the bleeding.
The snake, which was small and peculiar, moved really quickly. John and Liz chased it in the backyard. Eventually, they caught it and put it in a shoebox. But then they realized that John’s wound was still bleeding! They knew they had to go to the emergency room right away, so they brought the snake along.
After the doctors checked John, they quickly informed him that his snake bite was unusual but couldn’t provide any explanations. After treating John’s wound, he and Liz decided to take the snake to the Vet in the hopes of getting some answers.
When they arrived at the animal clinic, John noticed that the Vet turned pale as soon as he saw the snake.
They assisted the Vet in putting the snake in the see-through tank. The Vet kept saying that he had never seen a creature like it before and was unsure if it should be called a snake.
This meant that John’s bite was now from an unusual creature, which made them even more concerned. The Vet’s findings could have serious implications for John’s wound!
The Vet was examining the strange snake with arms, and John began to feel really cold. When John mentioned this, the Vet noticed the dark circle around his bite and became very worried. The Vet quickly grabbed a locked, old medicine box from the cabinet and said, “We need to treat that right away.”
He gave John and Liz a special antidote for dangerous bites. This antidote had never been used before, but now they had it. It was very rare, and there was only one in existence. The Vet showed them the antidote, which was inside a small container. “We have to put this directly into the bite,” the Vet explained.
After the Vet gave John the shot, he started feeling better right away. The couple felt relieved, but the Vet warned them not to relax completely. This made John and Liz worried once again.
They wondered if the snake was venomous and what could potentially happen to John.
John started feeling better, and the Vet kept watching the snake. The Vet told John and Liz to stay, in case they needed to do more tests on John.
Suddenly, after a few minutes, the Vet quickly moved back and said, “It’s definitely a snake. But we need to act fast.”
They overheard the Vet speaking quietly on the phone, and it didn’t make them feel any better. After the Vet finished the call, he checked that the snake was still caught and then stared directly at John. “We need to take you to the hospital.”
They went to the hospital with the snake. The Vet asked for a Doctor Andrew but was told to wait because he was busy. While waiting, John started feeling sick, but he thought it was because he was nervous. However, something else was causing his sickness.
It had been almost an hour, and the Vet was walking back and forth in front of John and Liz. They could sense the Vet’s hurry and became more worried as they waited. How could they not? John’s life was at stake!
The Vet approached the assistant and spoke softly. Then, the door opened and finally…
They all felt relieved when the assistant said Doctor Andrew was ready. When they went into the room, Doctor Andrew greeted them with a smile. But when he spoke with the Vet and saw the snake, his smile vanished.
“We need to do blood tests right away,” Doctor Andrew told John with a serious expression.
Doctor Andrew reassured them not to be concerned, but he needed to test John’s blood to ensure everything was okay. This helped alleviate some of the couple’s worries, but they were still afraid that the snake bite might be venomous. Once Doctor Andrew took the blood samples, he advised them to go home and rest while they waited. They also needed to examine the unusual snake the couple had discovered.
The Vet and Doctor Andrew checked the snake, and it was the most unique creature they had ever seen. When they used the venom extractor on it, they knew they had to inform John and Liz right away.
John and Liz were at home, trying really hard to stay calm and not think about the results. They were worried because the snake that bit John might have injected venom into his body. To make matters worse, the venom could be extremely dangerous and even fatal!
Suddenly, John’s phone rang. It was a call informing him that something unusual had been found in his blood.
In the hospital, the snake began moving violently in its cage. Doctor Andrew and the Vet were unsure how to handle the snake because it seemed to be in pain. What made it even stranger was that the snake was waving its arms at them.
They called John again and asked him to come quickly.
John picked up the phone and upon hearing Doctor Andrew’s message, they hurriedly went to the hospital. They were so anxious that they even exceeded the speed limits in order to arrive quickly. Liz was concerned that John’s health might be in danger due to a tiny and strange snake.
The discovery they made afterward left them completely stunned.
As soon as John and Liz arrived at the hospital, Doctor Andrew hurried towards them. They were quickly taken to the doctor’s office, where they saw some test tubes and a snake that was moving around a lot.
“Please don’t get scared by the news we’re about to share,” Doctor Andrew cautioned them, holding the test results.
John wasn’t sure if he heard Doctor Andrew correctly. The Doctor said there was a strange shining mixture in his blood, which was very unusual. It appeared as if there was a glowing gold streak in his blood!
John regretted not following Liz’s advice to leave the snake handling to the experts. Before he could dwell on it, Doctor Andrew spoke up.
“John, we’re not sure if this situation is positive or negative. However, we might have a way to find out…”
Doctor Andrew said that if they knew where the snake came from, they would find out if John’s blood condition was positive or negative. When the couple heard this, they thought that they might finally have a chance to solve everything if they had something strange at home.
“Doctor Andrew said, ‘You must bring us there,’ when John and Liz revealed the location of the snake. It was in the neglected pond in their backyard, a subject that made John uncomfortable. However, Doctor Andrew saw potential in this forsaken yard and believed it could hold the solution they were seeking!”
When John and Liz got married, they moved into a house their parents gave them as a gift. In the backyard, there was a large unused space, but the couple didn’t think much about it. However, things changed and became more difficult for them.
John and Liz got really busy with work and realized they needed to make time for each other. They came up with an idea to have a hobby together that could help them relax and forget about their stress. They looked at their backyard and realized they had plenty of space for it.
Liz made a garden and John wanted to make it even better by adding a pond. He began digging and was amazed when water started coming out from below the ground after a few days. As he dug deeper, more water came out. Then, all of a sudden, his shovel hit something very solid.
John noticed a shiny metal rock when he looked around. The sunlight made it stand out. Being curious, he started digging to uncover it. Just as he was about to lift the rock, he accidentally hit it with his shovel. What followed scared him to the core!
As soon as the rock broke, the water from below quickly went back down. John was extremely surprised and jumped out of the hole he had been digging for days. He just stood there, amazed, as the water vanished.
As he saw the water vanish, he felt really bad. It was like all his effort was wasted, like watching it all go away!
But at the same time, John couldn’t help but feel scared because this kind of thing doesn’t usually happen. A hole just appeared out of nowhere in their backyard…
After being surprised, he didn’t touch the hole for a few days, just like Liz suggested. She was correct; it could be dangerous! When he didn’t notice anything suspicious, John decided to keep working but vowed not to disturb the rocks this time.
John went back to work, feeling happy that he could start again. However, due to the scary experience he had, he made sure to keep a safe distance from the hole. But he realized that in order to complete the pond, he needed to cover the hole. So, he approached it carefully…
As soon as John put the rock over the hole, he felt his heart pounding in his chest. He expected something significant to occur, like a sudden earthquake or loud thunder.
He waited anxiously for a few minutes, and to his delight, nothing out of the ordinary happened!
He put granite and stones in the pond, first on the floor and then on the walls. After a few days, the pond was finished!
John put the koi fish he received as a gift from a friend into the pond. Liz had already finished working on the garden too. As they stepped back, they saw how their empty backyard had turned into a beautiful paradise.
John and Liz knew that the number of fish they put in the pond would increase on its own. When they saw two more fish, John asked his animal-breeding expert friend for advice.
John’s friend gave them a simple suggestion: sell the extra fish! This left the couple worried and unsure about what to do next.
Over time, more fish appeared in the pond. John and Liz took out the fish that had grown too big for the pond and sold them. They continued doing this for a while until John noticed something strange happening in the pond.
After watching the pond for nearly a week, John finally figured out what was happening. The fish were vanishing gradually without leaving any traces behind. It felt as if they had disappeared suddenly, as if by magic!
At first, John believed that someone was taking their special fish from the pond. They decided to put up cameras to catch the thief, but the footage from overnight showed that no one had entered their property. However, they still noticed fewer fish in the pond the next morning!
John and Liz were unsure at first, but they eventually realized that the extra money they earned from selling their extra koi fish was really helpful. However, now that their fish are disappearing, it’s causing a big problem for their finances!
John was very concerned about the situation. However, before he could investigate further, the final fish vanished. Instead of continuing his quest to unravel the mystery, John lost hope and decided to put the pond and his once vibrant fish out of his mind.
Consequently, John started neglecting the backyard, spending less time there than he used to.
Right now, John is watching Doctor Andrew and the Vet as they look at the pond he made. The water has already been emptied, so it’s not difficult for them to walk around on the bottom of the pond. They pick up some rocks, and it’s clear from their expressions that they are surprised!
John struggled with the desire to go and see what they had observed. He didn’t think it could be anything unusual because he checked their backyard every morning, even though it was messy.
However, John had to believe in the two men because they had done their own investigation. After all, it was his life at stake!
Doctor Andrew and the Vet found a broken piece of metal, and they realized it was the same thing John and Liz had mentioned. As Doctor Andrew looked at the rock for a while, he recognized that its colors and patterns were very familiar to him.
When they remembered where they had seen it before, they became worried.
Doctor Andrew vividly recalls the place where he noticed it. The markings resembled the liquid he had in his lab, specifically the test tube containing John’s blood. He was aware that the veterinarian quickly grasped the situation: they were approaching a breakthrough in John’s case!
They quickly motioned for John and Liz to come closer. When they approached the two doctors, they noticed something in front of Doctor Andrew and the Vet.
The ground was messed up, and the special shiny rock John had seen earlier was split in two with pieces scattered around! But that wasn’t the most surprising part for everyone.
Everyone was very surprised when they found out that the middle of the rock was empty inside. That’s when they started to think that maybe it wasn’t really a rock, but actually an egg.
Doctor Andrew had a theory, but he thought John and Liz were already dealing with a lot of things. So, he wanted to confirm his theory before telling them anything.
Doctor Andrew and the Vet took out a clear bag from their bags and gathered the broken pieces of the rock. They looked closely at the shard, removed some dirt, and Doctor Andrew was surprised.
“John, the color of this shard is the same as the one in your blood!”
Doctor Andrew and the Vet found some evidence, and they quickly gathered it with the assistance of John and Liz. Everyone was feeling hopeful because they saw a way out of the difficult situation John’s case had caused. However, the phone call Doctor Andrew received seemed to extinguish their newfound hope.
While John was driving them to the hospital, Doctor Andrew felt his phone vibrate. He had to answer it because his laboratory office was calling. He pressed the button and put the phone to his ear…
It felt like chaos was calling him! All he could hear was loud crashing noises, and then he heard his secretary urgently shout, “The snake escaped!”
Everyone in the car noticed that Doctor Andrew’s face turned pale. They could hear parts of a loud conversation, but it was difficult to understand. However, they instantly realized something was amiss when Doctor Andrew raised his voice and exclaimed, “John, drive faster!” Hearing this, John pushed the accelerator even harder.
Liz asked nervously, gripping the car handles tightly, “What’s going on?” She was concerned because John was driving recklessly to get to the clinic quickly.
But their worries intensified when they heard Doctor Andrew’s words, and it felt like all hope was gone.
“The snake escaped and everyone was panicking, so some of John’s blood tests might have been affected,” Doctor Andrew quickly explained. The car fell into a tense silence, just as they thought they were making progress.
The couple in front of the car couldn’t understand what Doctor Andrew meant because he spoke quietly. When Liz asked him to repeat, it gave them a glimmer of hope, but they still found it hard to believe.
“I hope the one I saved in my safe wasn’t!”
They couldn’t believe they reached the hospital in under 15 minutes. It felt like a miracle, even though they had some close calls with other cars on the road. But they were willing to take the risk to find out about John’s condition.
As they stepped out of the car, the couple looked at the hospital entrance, and everything appeared normal until…
The doors suddenly flew open, and one of Doctor Andrew’s helpers ran away in a panic. As the doors swung open, the two doctors and the couple caught a brief glimpse of commotion and loud voices coming from inside the clinic.
“Someone got bitten by a snake!” Without hesitation, all four of them hurriedly entered the clinic.
John looked around the hospital and couldn’t believe his eyes. It was a complete mess. Chairs were flipped over, and papers were strewn everywhere. He couldn’t even recognize the place from when they had first visited. It was hard to imagine that such a small snake could have caused such chaos.
Right away, Dr. Andrew saw the person who got bitten. It was one of his lab assistants, the one he trusted the most to take care of the snake. The assistant was going through the same thing John went through earlier, so there was some relief that they would know what to do.
However, the Vet didn’t feel the same sense of comfort.
All of a sudden, they heard a loud shout coming from the back of the hospital. Doctor Andrew asked the Vet to go check while he took care of his assistant. The hospital was empty because as soon as people found out there was a snake roaming around, they all quickly ran away.
The Vet, along with John and Liz, went to the place where the shout came from. They entered the hospital garden and saw another doctor holding a snake that appeared to be the one they were searching for.
“I found it!” the doctor exclaimed. However, instead of feeling happy, they had a feeling that something was not right.
