Philippines have been hit by several typhoons in recent months.
Fresh from the aftermath of Typhoon Goni, dubbed the world’s most powerful typhoon by the Philippine Star, the Southeast Asian nation experienced yet another typhoon.
This time, it was Typhoon Vamco aka Ulysses which caused floods in the Quezon province.
However, despite the tragedy, one man’s bravery shone as he was recorded trying to rescue a drowning dog.
In the 32-second video, which was then uploaded onto Viral News, the man could be seen risking his life by venturing into the muddy floodwater to save the helpless dog.
He had to hold on to a white pillar to ensure he wasn’t swept away by the muddy waters as he slowly reached the dog.
Moments later, the video cuts to him swimming together with the dog to safety.
The incident had apparently taken place in Marikina.
They say dogs are men’s best friends and this dog has definitely found a friend for life!
