A stray dog has melted hearts online when she turned to a stranger for help and lead him to see her hungry babies.
The pooch was filmed by a kind-hearted man as he spotted her begging for food on the street.
In a resurfaced video he posted on Douyin, a Chinese equivalent of TikTok, the man said: “The stray dog comes to see as if she is asking food so I gave her a drumstick.
“She takes it and quickly walks away but at some point, she turns back to look at me.
“I thought she is just trying to say thank you. Strangely the dog is not eating the food and she is going further.”
So the good Samaritan notices the dog is not eating the food and decides to follow her.
And what happens next has leaves him in tears.
The mother dog takes the man across the street and down to an alley behind an abandoned storage.
She stops and looks at him before dropping the drumstick on the floor and waiting for her four puppies to come and greet her.
“I want to cry…the dog is giving the food to her babies,” the overlay text explained.
“At the end the mum and her babies come towards me as if they are trying to thank me for bringing the food.”
Viewers were touched by the mother dog’s move as many said: “We don’t deserve dogs”.
One wrote: “The mum is keeping the food for her kids. This is the power of love.”
“Please help them, adopt the dog and her babies,” a second suggested and a third penned: “I am getting welled up watching this.
“The mum is probably hungry too, please feed them more food if you can.”
